campaign, which encourages men to take action against the inequalities faced by
women. So far, almost 6,000 Barclays’ employees have pledged to take part in
this crucial initiative.

Supporting future leaders
Research shows that leadership teams with greater gender
diversity develop better solutions and foster a more collaborative environment.
To make sure women in our business have the greatest opportunity to become
leaders, we run and support a range of programmes. These include International
Women’s Day, the Global Women in Leadership Forum, as well as sponsorship and
Win: the gender network
The Women’s Initiative Network (Win) helps Barclays attract,
retain and maximise the talent of women. This network makes full use of the
bank’s partnerships with the United Nations HeForShe campaign, Everywoman and Catalyst.
It currently boasts more than 5,000 members worldwide.
