What to expect

Expect to set yourself up for a stellar fintech career.

Over one summer, you’ll gain extraordinary exposure to fast-track your expertise. As well as learning from our pioneering team, you’ll take on real projects and responsibilities.

We’ll train you first on our business and industry. After this you’ll be an integral member of our New York team. You’ll work in a varied and dynamic technical environment that includes Windows, Unix, C++, Java, C#, NoSql, MongoDB, Linux, Python, Hadoop, scripting languages, grid computing and real-time systems.

The important work you’re involved in could include:

  • Optimizing systems and applications
  • Analyzing code so you can improve processes
  • Writing scripts for data pulls and analysis
  • Developing user interfaces for applications
  • Working with business areas to understand and meet their needs

How you’ll develop

You’ll fast-track your knowledge and technical skills in a friendly environment.

As well as extensive mentoring to help you hone your skills, you’ll also the chance to network and enjoy social events. Halfway through, you’ll get constructive feedback on your performance. By the time the summer’s over, you’ll have a solid understanding of our business, our culture and your potential place within it.

If you perform very well and meet our hiring criteria, you could have a full-time role waiting for you when you graduate.

Who thrives here

We require many types of technical aptitude. So your skills could be in programming, developing and systems design, network engineering, database management, or project coordination. Ideally, you’ll have a Computer Science major, but this isn’t essential.
