What to expect
Expect to experience the best in HR. You could spend your ten weeks working with HR business partners, tackling day-to-day and strategic issues for a business function. Or you could work in a Center of Excellence, developing expertise in a focused area of HR. Either way, you’ll get to know our people and our business, taking on challenges such as:
- helping to develop our graduate recruitment and training programs
- investigating employee relations issues
- analyzing the impact of workforce changes
- supporting colleagues through the promotion process
- supporting the delivery of diversity training for our managers.
How you’ll develop
After training on our business in general, you’ll join a supportive team where you can deliver your best work. In our collaborative environment, mentoring happens naturally and friendships are easy to form. Mentors will guide your progress, and networking and social events will provide a fully rounded experience. By the time the summer’s over, you’ll walk away with a solid understanding of our business, our culture and your potential place within it. If you perform very well and meet our hiring criteria, you could have a full-time role waiting for you after graduation.
Who thrives here
We look for resourcefulness, leadership skills, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit, often shown through participation in extracurricular activities. A keen interest in HR and financial services is also vital.
