What to expect

Expect to make a quick start. After several days of training that will cover the basics, you’ll go straight into working on live projects. Splitting your ten weeks between two teams, you’ll take on challenges in Finance or Tax. Wherever you’re placed, you’ll work with experienced professionals and build your analytical and business skills. Your projects will vary greatly, and could include:

  • Performing profit and loss analysis for key business units
  • Creating reports and performance scorecards for senior managers
  • Analyzing data to highlight trends and insights – and then presenting your findings to senior managers
  • Participating in calls and meetings with stakeholders

How you’ll develop

Throughout the summer, our support will help you deliver your best work. In our team-driven environment, you’ll find that mentoring happens naturally and friendships are easy to form. Senior and junior mentors will guide your progress, and networking and social events will provide a fully rounded experience. Halfway through, you’ll get constructive feedback on your performance. By the time the summer’s over, you’ll walk away with a solid understanding of our business, our culture and your potential place within it. If you perform well and meet our hiring criteria, you could have a full-time role waiting for you after graduation.

Who thrives here

We look for resourcefulness, leadership skills, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit, often shown through participation in extracurricular activities. A good basic knowledge of finance and financial markets is important. While not essential, it will also help if you have a major in Finance or Accounting.
